Bethany and our Outreach Committee are pleased to announce that we have just installed a Little Free Library! The LFL was installed adjacent to the sidewalk near the church sign, in time for our November 4, 2020 outdoor worship service. (See below for photos!)
A Little Free Library is a free neighborhood book exchange program, where neighbors are invited to “Take a Book, Leave a Book”. There are more than 100,000 libraries worldwide and more are being added every day! Here's a little video to help explain the program and how it works:

Little Free Library
With thanks to Andy Jones, our Little Library was built and delivered to Bethany in late October, 2020. Ken Henry painted it, with paints provided by Craig Bray, and then Ken and Andy installed it! We received an initial box of children's books from Melinday Jones, in trade for a donation to the San Bruno Friends of the Library where Melinda volunteers. This has been a true community project!
We invite the congregation and all friends of Bethany to contribute new or gently used books, especially books with inclusive, multicultural themes, to be added to the LFL. If you are interested in helping with our LFL, pease bring your books to the church, or contact us to pick them up. Thank you in advance for your support of this wonderful project!
