Bethany's annual Spring Tea, held on April 27, was a glorious day filled with sunshine, a cool breeze, wonderful speakers and good friends.  Our beneficiary this year was the Ridge Presbyterian Church Camp Fire Relief Fund, in Paradise, California. Everything came together nicely for our garden party themed Tea, and included inspirational thoughts from the hearts of our speakers, Theresa Reed and Beth Palmer from Ridge Presbyterian Church. It was so nice for Theresa and Beth to be able to join us and it was so uplifting to hear their stories.

Just over 60 people attended the Tea, there were many tickets purchased for the 12 beautiful gift baskets, and in the end, we raised $4,000 for the RPC Camp Fire Relief Fund.

Many thanks to the Deacons for all their contributions, the Community Action/Life committee members (Jorie Abbott, Barbara Liedtke, George Lynch, and Tamra Hollenbeck) and to many others who helped with the food preparation and Tea service, clean up, and many other jobs that need to be done in order to have a successful event including Molly Lyons, Frank and Donna Goodwin, Bonnie Morgan, and Steve and Kelly Rozmus. Thanks also to everyone who contributed donations but were unable to attend.
