Thanksgiving Dinner and Talent Revue 2022

Bethany's Thanksgiving dinner has been an annual event since our founding.  Some time in the 80's a talent show was added, and we've never looked back!  Of course, we couldn't gather in 2020, nor in 2021.  We made up for lost time onSaturday, November 19, with a wonderful dinner and talent show.  We are so thankful that we can gather safely once more!

Under the direction of our master chef Tamra Hollenbeck, two large turkeys were prepared, stuffed, and popped in the oven to be carved that evening by Frank and Donna Goodwin. Just over 40 people attended. After dinner, there was also a Talent Revue with singing, guitar playing, jokes, and stories. So many people contributed tasty dishes and there was an entire table full of wonderfully appealing desserts.

Thanks to everyone for bringing food to share for the dinner. Thanks to the group of dedicated helpers who shopped, cooked, set up tables, set the tables, washed and/or dried dishes, took down tables, etc. Many thanks go to the overseeing committee: Lyn Hughes, Tamra Hollenbeck, Jorie Abbott, and Roxane Wales.

In addition to sending food home with several people, leftover stuffing, rolls, butter, and cranberry sauce was donated to the Catholic Worker Hospitality House Thanksgiving dinner as well as $320 donated by those attending the dinner.

We couldn’t have had this event without you so a big THANK YOU to all!
