March For Our Lives ~ March 24, 2018

The March For Our Lives is a student-led demonstration against the proliferation of violence in schools and for sensible gun laws.  The movement began with students who survived a gunman's attack on their school which killed 17 people at Marjory Stoneman-Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on February 14, 2018.  While the students of MSDHS marched in Washington, DC, more than 800 sibling marches were held throughout the US and around the world.  Many Bethany members and friends attended marches in San Francisco and Burlingame, CA.

Thank you to Roberta Henry, Kathryn Pyke and Christine Angeles for sharing their photos.

We head down Market St. to the Ferry Building
Signs en route
Speaks for itself
Crowds heading down Market Street
A teacher with the right idea
Seems reasonable
An interesting point
A youngster asks a fearful question
We have to agree with this
The crowd of thousands stretches down Market Street
This is not the religion we practice
A good question about the misinterpretation of the 2nd Amendment
From young to old, let's hope common sense gun control legislation becomes law.
