Stop Hunger Now October 2015

Our second Stop Hunger Now event in 2015 was held on Saturday, October 10, with more than 90 people in attendance! Thank you to EVERYONE who came out to do such good, quick work!

Our fourth Stop Hunger Now meal- packing event was held on Saturday, October. During this energetic event, described as “joyful controlled chaos,” 95 people packed 10,198 meals, to be shipped to the Philippines, in 1½ hours. The volunteer count was an all-time high and the packing was done in record time.

Thanks to all the volunteers, especially the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts who joined us. It was just great to see all the children and their parents helping made a difference and having fun doing so. A special thank you to those of you who helped with setup and cleanup, as we couldn’t have the event without you!
