Independence Day at Ardenwood Farm 2012

On the 4th of July we celebrated like it was 1900! Several Bethany folks ventured to the East Bay's Ardenwood Historic Farm, and joined in some old fashioned games like egg toss, pie eating, and watermelon seed spitting... we sampled the hand cranked ice cream while listening to blue grass music... relaxed on the beautiful grounds while enjoying a picnic lunch while being entertained by a brass band playing turn of the century standards... toured the Patterson’s Victorian Farm house...and once again won the water bucket brigade!
