For our Lenten study this year will be enjoying a unique pilgrimage with each other, as we follow this daily Lenten devotional from the Presbyterian Outlook. In Local Pilgrim we are invited to be as pilgrims, as we explore and observe both new and familiar places in our communities. For example, one of the authors went to many new places and set her intention to just observe and be open to how God was present in these new places. Whether it is a new place, or a routine place we find ourselves – the post office, the grocery store, a walk near the shore – the question to us in these pages is, What will God reveal to us when we pause, ponder and reflect? Who do we see? What do we hear? God reveals God’s self when we look.

This daily devotional covers every day beginning Sunday, February 18, thru Easter Sunday, March 31. We will meet as a group in person at Bethany, on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm to consider the reflection from the devotional booklet for that day, and share any reflections from the previous days of the week. (Due to session meeting at 4:30 on March 12, we will shift the study to another time for that day only.) I hope to see you there!
