Answering for the Children at Christmas

The Community Action Committee will collect Christmas gifts for children of the Answering for the Children family in Uganda this year. It was our great pleasure to send the Spring Tea proceeds to this wonderful family and we have kept in contact with them asking what else we might do for them. Christmas seemed a wonderful time to again extend a helping hand so we sent along an email with our thoughts and received a wonderful list from the children’s mother, Deidrah Dodo.

Beginning October 2, we will have tags at church for the children’s gifts and we would ask that you plan to pick up a tag (or two) to help purchase gifts for the children whose ages run from 5 to 18.  Please plan on wrapping your gift(s) (paper only, no bow) and return the gifts to church by October 23. We will then send the gifts to Southern California for shipping to Uganda.

We are excited to be able to share Christmas with our dear family in Uganda and hope you will be excited too.
